Hopefully your wife knows that is illegal to put all used firearms in a new safe. There needs to be at least one new one!

Do not get one with an electric push in the code locking mechanism. Get one with a manual dial. You will always be able to get into it. I’ve known multiple people that had the electronic ones malfunction and couldn’t get their safes open until a locksmith that is in contact with the manufacture came out to get them open.

Good safe manufacturers with this keypad option, will provide an alternative, manual method of accessing the safe with a key. If your's doesn't come with this option, get one that does.

I bought a champion safe a few years back and have been really pleased with it. I feel that the manual lock is the best way to go. A friend of mine has a keypad one and I can tell what numbers he uses due to the keypad showing where he pushes. After a good amount of practice the manual I feel is just as fast to get into on a regular basis.

I’ve got a 36 gun safe from Ft Knox. Weighs 1350 lbs empty and sucks to move. I wish I had gone bigger though because I can barely squeeze 20 long guns in there! Mine has the dual keypad and dial which I do like and would recommend.

Can never have a big enough safe... we are looking at building a new house in the next year or two and I would really like it to have a walk in gun safe! Room for guns and a reloading/gun smithing bench.

My wife bought me a rhino safe for our anniversary five years ago. It has been an awesom safe, the exterior and interior still look brand new. Its a shame that it sits in my office, aa it looks like a piece of art! Congrats on your purchase!
