Gun safe in unheated room or garage?

I live in high humidity and my gun room is connected to the garage. It has climate control but I keep the vents closed. I use a very low watt bulb inside the safe. I originally used golden rods but after a second one went bad I switched to a small clip on lamp with a low watt bulb. A plus for me was having the lighted interior.

I’d get it out of the garage if possible, otherwise you been given some good recommendations.
