Don't name your kids weird, hard to say or spell names, names that rhyme. Etc etc. Just give them standard names.
Kids are fing ruthless, the ridicule and shame around a name can be crazy.

If you are gonna give them a weird name id start ridiculing them at birth, that way its not a shock when they enter school.

I get a little cringe worked up every time I learn that the dog on that flatbed 3/4ton is named Ruger or Remi or Winnie or tikka or Guage.....it's a fun idea, but in practice it sounds silly and not as unique and clever or passion-driven as parents think. Other kids are ruthless and a lot of Karen culture grownups (teachers, not all) will have preconceived opinions of these kids. I dealt with a 4th grade teacher that outwardly anti everything....majority of the class was cut off and subject changed every week when the students were allowed (or not, as it were) to share what they did over the weekend. That's the world we're in now. I wouldn't put my own kids at such a disadvantage.

But, that's just my opinion.
