Guided OTC hunts

There are a couple hunt broker companies out there. Many outfitters are great at hunting, bad at answering phones. The broker gets a cut for doing the leg work out of the outfitters fees. The brokers work with a ton of outfitters. They can link you up with someone for sure still if your flexible. Ive used hunt nation twice and they called me both times after the hint to see how happy I was with the outfitter.

If you’re gonna go with a broker either get references for the outfitter or see if the broker has actually hunted with the company. Had a buddy book a hunt through the broker, and the broker basically sold him just info off the website, never even talked to the outfitter until they had already paid. He through in some extra amenities the outfitter didn’t know about and even though the outfitter made some fixes and was understanding, he ended up pulling himself off the brokers list cause it had happened multiple times.

Do your homework and proceed with caution when trusting strangers on an outdoor forum. Most good ones are booked but you might get lucky. Cow hunts are a bit less risky but still plenty of guys over booking hunts with poor success rates.
