Guess who got Kentucky lucky??

That's great to hear. I was drawn for unit 2 and decided semiguided was best bet for me. I'm driving down to meet gary and scout a bit this weekend.
Unit 2 has a lot of public land. Did you by chance get drawn for the Middlesboro regulated area? Thats where my wife shot hers.

Ky Ryan what part of Kentucky you from? I live east of Evansville Indiana. If you wanna make a trip over to scout let me know.
I got second cow rifle season.

I didn't get any regulated areas. I'm going to look into to them and maybe try and get into 1 on the 12th

I've debated putting in for KY tag for next year to maybe get a chance to get ready for out west

CONGRATULATIONS, I have also been donating for a few years. That is a very hard tag to draw for a non resident. Good luck!

Non resident odds are super slim just FYI. I've applied as well as my wife since day one for all available hunts. Never drawn and never expect too honestly. But I'd be crazy not to considering I'm just over the border in VA.
congrats to all the lucky wimmers!!

You can put in all you want, but don't expect to draw. Odds are like 1 in 800 for a bull tag and 1 in 200 for a cow tag. I have put in for 10 years, never drawn. But, its cheap and only a few hours away. Kentucky is not a state that you make a plan around. If you are lucky enough to draw a tag, then you can start the planning after that.

Anybody successful in KY yet this season?

I've got a Cow Rifle Week 1 tag so I can't hunt until the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I am counting the days!
