That's a solid mid 170s deer 175-178" is where I eyeball it at. Those back forks are excellent and so is his mass

Most of you are pretty close! 169 7/8". I thought he was about 150 when I was thinking about him a month later sitting around in elk camp. Think the mass makes his beams look short! I had watched him a few days earlier (too far for a shot) when he was with the big friend and was loving the large back forks. Good buck with nice dark color for early season. I think you get to make both H measurements. I act like there is a G1 and make H1 and H2 accordingly. I don't know nit-picking- ness of b & c rules

You always get 4 mass measurements per side.

Maybe someone with the full book knows, but I believe there is something mentioned about an “indication” of a brow tine as well. Meaning that even if the point doesnt make 1”, if you can identify it, you take your h1 below the brow. Gives you a couple extra 1/8s usually.
Can anyone confirm? May have also got that from the P&Y scoring book…
