Group buy, MGM Contender barrels?

I think I can work out a group buy for MGM barrels. If interested, start giving information and I will talk with them about it.

Won’t do it till January at the earliest, but start kicking it around.

While I don't need any more Contender barrels, I could always use another one.

MGM makes good stuff.

An 8-10" .357 with a threaded barrel for use with my Alaskan 360 would make for a great box blind deer popper.

I’m thinking of an 18-22” 45-70 barrel in .810” diameter.

I really wish they’d make a Contender platform muzzleloader barrel.

A 16-18 in 223 Wylde or long throated 223.

A 16.5 inch 6 creed.

Those two would interest me.

6 Creed would put you in Encore territory. The Contender frame won't take it. Would be an awesome little package though.

ETA: A 16" threaded 221 Fireball in an 8 or 9 twist flavor would be *chef's kiss* to me. I've got a 10" 221 barrel and it's fun really puts the Fireball in 221 Fireball.

You are correct, and I apparently cannot read as I have an Encore.

6 arc is probably about the limit. Any likely only on the new frames with the crappy trigger.

Bolt thrust should be a bit lower with .22 ARC.

Can you tell me about this Alaskan 360? I just built a Contender on a really early frame in 350 Legend for our region 3 straight wall limit and now I feel I’ve missed the boat




I was thinking a 22 CM barrel would be a nice addition but I haven’t even looked to see if the little action can handle it.
