Oh no doubt savages shoot, I just didn’t want to buy it because it was a $2000 gun in a heavy chassis which didn’t suit my use case. My buddy exclusively shoots savages for long range comps. If it would have been an ultralight or timberline 110 I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Looking back I could have went with the fast twist tikka 243, but I can’t argue with the 6.5 PRC accuracy despite it being a Christensen100% every Savage I have messed with shoots, but is sloppy. Most other rifles do too, but I have seen a couple dogs.
But, every after market prefit has shot as good or better, as in sub moa.
I would even test shoot a group for the cost of ammo and 20 minutes of time to proof out a rifle if someone wanted to see the guarantee rather than take the risk.
