Hey guys I’m in the market for my first ground blind. My son is getting old enough and my wife is gaining interest in hunting so I need one large enough to fit 3 of us. I bow hunt with a recurve so hight and shooting windows are a concern so I’m hoping to get some recommendations from you guys. Also how do you transport the blinds into the field? Do they have back pack straps? Throw it over your shoulder?

I have been looking at the Barronett grounder 350 price seems fair and seems to have good reviews what’s your thoughts?

I have a couple Barronets- essentially because they are larger- good product.

Edit; its the height that helps with trad bows. Some of the cheap blinds are short making it tough to keep your top limb from hitting the blind.

I have a couple of the Barronet Big Mike blinds. They're several years old and still holding up good. I put them out about a month before season opens, brush them in and take them down after season. I'm 6'4'' and shoot a 64'' longbow with no issues from a stool.

I've tried rhino 180, ameristep, and double bull blinds. Nothing has came close to the Baronnett Big Mike for me. I did kill a turkey last year in one of the Rhino 180s but it was difficult and I knocked multiple holes in the roof of that thing with my top limb while practicing. Shooting a 58 inch Bear Grizzly recurve. But yeah Big Mike all the way, it has some sneaky holes in the front mesh at the perfect height - sitting or standing.
