I never had the urge to hunt a Grizzly, because I wouldn't eat it. I'm more of a meat hunter.

Recently I've been watching documentary's of Brown Bears hunting Moose Calves & Elk Calves. The amount of predation is incredible !! Easy prey, and the Cows can't do much to protect their young.

The Grizzly's know the Elk birthing grounds well, and what time of year to visit. It's really incredible to watch.

So if you're a Grizzly hunter, more power to ya !!

I'd love to tag a big ole Mtn. Grizz.
Me too! And there is zero reason to not eat a mountain grizzly unless you are one of those people super-worried about trichinosis in which case you shouldn't be eating ANY predator. That's a little crazy to me since black bear and mountain lion are a couple of delicious critters in my opinion.

I've eaten bears. Berry eating bears. While it taste good, it's too greasy for my taste. I'd rather eat deer.

But regardless, watching Grizzly's take down a Moose calf is pretty cool.
