Grip tape on stock

As I'm trying to lighten my pack, leaving behind bipod and tripods. And instead shooting off my pack or trekking poles.

Something that happens from time to time is trekking poles slipping or falling away if they are not held.

Well...I used a 1" wide strip of grip tape. Its for stairs. It locks into the crossed straps of the trekking poles. To the point I can't even shake it loose.

Anyway thought I'd share

That's the grip tape on my diy rokstock. Doesn't look to bad either
