Grim Reaper Pro 3-blades not spinning

put on 3 different heads out of 3 different packs, they all wobbled like a wounded duck when screwed on. Tried Wasps, Rage 3 blades and 4 blade slick trick and they all spun true.


Anyone had issues with the Grim Reapers not spinning true? Sucks because they are my favorite broadhead

Weird. They've always been perfect for me. Even the older non pro series. I did have a couple hybrids that didn't spin perfectly though. I would contact the company or take them back to where you purchased them and try to exchange them.

couldn't help my self, so I busted open another pack. 3 of them spun perfect and one wobbled. Tried it on two different arrows and it wobbled on both.

I have to admit.......when I first read the thread title I was thinking "GR's not spinning.....do you have fletching on your arrows?".

Where did you buy them?

Counterfeit GR broadheads are a very common and ongoing problem.

Long time Grim Reaper user here. This is very common with their heads due to the tolerance stacking of the retention cup and spring system. The fix is in the instructions. You’ll need to loosen the retention cup and rotate it to get a wobbly one to spin true. Once you fiddle with retention cup placement and get it to spin true, you’ll use same method to fix any others.

I stopped buying Grim Reaper because of this. I have a bunch of their heads and finding ones to spin true takes awhile.

Almost all of them will spin true but requires some adjustment of the retainer cup.
