Me and a buddy left 8/16/23 to fly out of Kotzubou on the 17th. We were delayed a day to to 70mph winds and rain at the hunt site. On the 18th we finally got out to a staging area about 130 miles out of Koz. When we flew out that afternoon to our hunt spot we had to return to the staging area again do to bad weather. Finally made it out to the hunt site on the 18th.
We were seeing good bulls right from camp. on the 19th Jamie shot this awsome bull about 10am.
A couple of days later I got mine
It was a trip of a lifetime.
The guys with Artic Air worked hard to make it happen. I know we were fortunate to get out. They have had weeks of weather delays and were backed up getting people in and out of the field. It sounds like they inherited a mess from the previous owners and are getting it sorted out.
