The guys at EXO did a great podcast recently that served to answer the persistent question they get: Why don’t you make a _______.

Has nothing to do with hunting, but Steve just lays out the business model and why it is the way it is.

I dig those guys, and appreciate their approach. Keep it small, keep it relevant, focus on the things you are passionate about.

We need more companies like them.

I agree, it’s awesome to see a business become successful and stick to the goals that got them there. Way to many examples of companies sticking their name on anything that might bring in an extra dollar.

They have a good podcast. I've learned a lot listening to it over the last couple years. I will have to check this one out.

Enjoyed that podcast as well. Wish more companies saw business that way. Although I still disagree with Steve on the giant dry bag versus a pack cover thing.

I do too. Luckily a Kuiu fits just fine ;-)

Do they address why they don't sell their Berry-compliant packs to the general public? I've asked them that question a couple of times on here and they haven't responded.

I really enjoyed that podcast, and how they are staying focused on their pack designs. If I didn't own a SG that fit me well, I'd definitely want to try out the Exo packs.

Didn’t address it specifically, but if they are making a pack to spec, there is usually an aspect of exclusivity to the main customer.
