Just opened my new Redding dies. The grease is sticky/tacky on my hands after handling them. Is this normal? Anyone else have this experience?

Yep. Keeps it from rusting. Get it all off inside and out with solvent of some type then apply a light coat of some type of petroleum spray to help keep rust at bay. But coat the inside lightly and buff around with case lubricant inside that you will use for resizing in the sizing die and just a light coat of light petroleum based spray in the seater die, then buff/rub it around. Don't want much/any lube inside the seater die.

I've always cleaned my new dies with rubbing alcohol. I has always seemed to work
