I've been searching for a good gps pouch for my garmin 62s for a while to go on my hip belt. I bought and sold a kifaru one and a garmin one and then found out about the fhf gear holster for the rino and talking to Paul the owner I ordered one. Got it and works great. Holds the 62s securely and goes on the hip belt easily. Here's some pictures if anyone is looking for something similar.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Thats great to hear, I been looking for something just like this. I have a garmin 60, which is basically the same size as a 62. I might have to get one of these.

I have a very similar 1000d cordura

I wonder how the fhf one would fit on a belt as opposed to MOLLE? Will it hold it tight and snug or flop around? Thinking about getting one for my Exo pack, which has a single belt like strap on the waist belt...

I was thinking about getting their rangefinder pouch also but just realized it's for a belt, not MOLLE.. Don't think it will work because you can't slide the exo belt through it since it's stitched down..

Thanks for the info! Think I'll buy one soon myself.. Just trying to somehow make the rangefinder pouch work too lol

Really?? In the pic from Facebook it looks stitched on both sides??

I actually have my pack but it's sitting in the box @ my parents place 3 hours away so I haven't had a chance to inspect it in person.. Gonna pick it up in a few weeks..

Also, do you happen to know how long Paul's wait time is currently?
 
What didnt you like about the kifaru and what do you like about the fhf better. I was about to order the kifaru.

I'm just trying to decide what color would look best with coyote brown.. The foliage/tan is definitely the prettiest, but I'm thinking maybe multicam with the brown.. Not sure..

If I remember from his Facebook page, he has stock waiting to ship like Hill People Gear. He went away from the made to order thing like Kifaru about a year ago.



Thank you so much for posting this. I had been looking for opinions on the two pouches a couple months ago and completely spaced it. I was going to go down to the archery shop outside of Belgrade and check and see if they have the pouches. I will go see how I like the fit on my DT2 in the next day or so now that I see someone give the yes for the FHF over Kifaru.
 
I'll get some pics up later tonight. I just didn't like how the kifaru attached and I like that the fhf is open on top
