Costco in Pocatello has the GPO Centuri Spotting Scope Package with carbon fiber tripod for $590. I was surprised to see GPO at Costco.

German Precision Optics. It's a brand I've seen discussed on Rokslide a few times. From what I've seen, they have a good reputation. I don't need a spotter right now. If the centuri is any good, then this seems like a good deal considering it includes a carbon fiber tripod.
