Figured I’d share my hunting setup for the year…subject to change lol.

Tikka T3x stainless in 6.5 PRC. I cut and threaded the factory barrel to 18” and have the OCL Hydrogen S 6.5 mounted. Glass is a Maven RS1.2. Weight as it sits is 8lbs 7oz. Going to take it out soon to sight in and do some shooting. Only other change I may make some day is the stock.

At least get the vertical grip. Makes a world of difference.

Nice rig! You're going to kick some asss with that one. Congrats.

Not trolling. I have a bone stock T3x Stainless Lite in 223. I primarily shoot off the bench. What does the vertical grip do for me in terms of ergonomics?
Gets your finger into a better shooting position and grip with your hand to control recoil.

Looks good OP, might enjoy a cheek riser.

I'm still tinkering with mine in a similar setup but CM rather than PRC, might swap scopes but I like it as is. I keep reading all the comments on the vertical grip and feel like I'm missing something but I thought I was done dammit.

I’m hopeful that manners will release the PH for Tikka soon. That’s the one stock I’d like to try out. I’ve had the Rokstok and Stockys.

It does nothing for me. I tried it based off the glowing reviews here, but didn’t like it at all. I went back to the regular grip, because it feels much more natural to me.
