GoPro for our first elk hunt

I would like to invest in one of these. I do a lot of saltwater fishing too. Which model would some of you GoPro users recommend? thanks

I would go with the hero 3+. It has a low light auto mode that will help in the am as well as in the dark timber. I would also suggest taking shots with the super view and then with the narrow view. A lot if hype with the super view but not the best for kill shots outside of 30. It's great if you want to get a "all encompassing view" riding a bike, arc, or landscape shots. Just my thoughts. Haven't had it but a couple weeks but have noticed this with superview

If you think you will use it a lot and want all of the bells and whistles then get the 3+ Black. If it is something you just use occasionally, then a Silver will do. I have a Silver Edition now and it has done fine but if I get another then I will definitely get a Black. Check out my Youtube channel for some examples of how I have been using mine.
