Thinking about picking this up as a good place to start long range shooting. Just wanting something easy on the recoil, so my teenage daughters can enjoy! Thinking about putting a muzzle break and maybe a bipod, And going out and having some fun.

Personally, I would get a Tikka T3x Lite Stainless. I think it is a better foundation to start with than the Remington if you decide to start modifying it later on.

Tikka or Howa and in a chassis. Both have good triggers and better QC. Remington won’t be as good out of the box.
