Good deal on Steripen at Gander Mountain????

My local Gander Mountain has a large stack of the Steripen Adventurer Opti's. The price tag says $59.99 and I think its 25% off that. So around $50 with tax. I am not familiar with any of the Steripens so not sure if this a good deal or not. So is this model any good? Thanks advance.

Pretty cheap they are usually around $80-90 anywhere you find them. I've never used them but I've wanted to try one. The price just kept me away. I've always used a lifestraw bottle and Sawyer filters.
