Going price to level a F 150

Wanting to know the going rate for the parts, install and front end alignment ..

You need to be more specific as to what you want in a leveling kit. You can buy a basic leveling kit with 2 spacers for $49 or a comprehensive kit with new coil over struts and rear shocks for $1500. Labor will depend on your choices.

I spent the extra money (because I had it at the time)and went the Fox route almost 5 years ago.

Zero regrets and to me the ride is better than factory before the level. It’s really more of a 2” lift and I like the look.

If you have basic hand tools, jack and jackstands you can easily install a leveling kit on a 1/2 ton truck in your driveway or garage. Then drive it to the nearest alignment shop and spend $150 for an alignment.

If you want my opinion, look into bilstein 5100 front shock. They have a several snap rings for different seat heights for the front springs. I think the lowest was stock height and the tallest was 3”.But that’s a bit more cost upfront. I went that route with my 4Runner and was very happy.

I have bilstein coil overs. Ride is pretty stiff but you can adjust the front lift.

I chose Eibach springs.
I've used them before and am very happy with the quality and results on my 2015 F150.

I tossed bilstein 6112's and 5100's on my tacoma. My god that thing rides like ass now. Will spend more money next time around.

Eibach will be a softer ride than Bilstein. Read on digressive vs progressive vs linear.

I’ve had Eibach on my Tundra for four years and am very happy with it.

They are coilovers minus the threaded section of the shock body to adjust preload.

On my old F150 I did 1.5” spacers. I think they were like $50 and took about an hour to install. An alignment cost me $90. I never had any issue with the spacers but I didn’t hammer it off road.

On my new truck (frontier) I went with koni shock/strut assemblies, new leaf springs, new high clearance upper control arms. I think it cost about $1800 and took like 5 hours to install. Again had to pay the $90 for alignment. I did this so I could beat it up off road. I honestly don’t know if it was worth it. Time will tell if it holds up really well
