Wondering if anyone has experience with the GoHunt branded carbon poles and could provide some feedback. I'm sure they are made by one of the big companies with the GoHunt name on them.

Not looking for recommendations for other brands. Just hoping to find some info on these specific poles.

Thanks

No experience with the GOHUNT poles but I have a pair of leki legacy lite’s that I have beat the hell out of over several years and are still going strong.

I’d like black diamond a lot better if their warranty was worth a chit…but it’s decidedly not. And they break just like all the rest when taxed.

I’ve decided the Costco carbon fiber sets are the best deal going. Just treat them like the disposable item they are.

I have the same experience as grizz19. The Leki's have been fantastic for me during 250-300 miles of backpacking trips out west and down in Arkansas.

just buy the ones you like the look of the most from REI, they'll warranty them basically forever if you have a membership...

Thanks guys, but as the post says. I'm not looking for recommendations.

I was hoping someone might have info on these poles because I was a bit surprised to see GoHunt putting their name on a stick. I know they're branching into gear now, but these look similar to some of the bigger brands. Probably manufactured in the same factory but with their name on the end product.

Gohunt was super sick in the beginning when it was actually a curated list of gear used by the guys so you felt like you could buy anything in the store and be confident about it.
Gohunt lost me when they started releasing their own GoHunt branded gear.
They should have stayed in their lane as a curator

They suck. Get Black diamond alpine carbon cork.
So do the peax and argali stop buying every piece of junk a hunting company tries to sell you
I can't speak to any other company, but we engineer and manufacture our our own poles. The thickness and quality of our carbon tubing is more robust than BD's because they need to handle more weight when you're packing out with 100+ lbs on your back. They are not white labeled poles we slap a logo on. I would put them strength and quality wise up against any pole out there. If you use them and still think they are "junk", let me know and I'll give you a full refund no matter how old they are.

Thanks for the info.
I didn't start this thread to bash on any products. Just saw that gohunt started selling their own branded poles and was curious on some real world experiences with them.
I saw a review on your poles from mindful hunter and they look like great poles. Have you had any issues with the cap on top of the grip coming off? I have been thinking about buying a set and that was the only thing holding me back. I guess I could super glue them if needed.
On his review he said he had issues with the wrist strap working their way out of the slotted section and coming off sometimes while in use.

We really don't have any issues with the grip caps comong off. I spent a long time dialing in the mold to make sure that wouldn't happen. We do i crude an extra grip cap with every set in case it does, but they don't come out easily enough to have it happen by accident. I haven't seen Jay's review but it isn't something I've heard about from other customers.

You interacting with customers and backing your product I decided to order a set of the carbons. Also, the in house engineering & manufacturing is a plus.
Appreciate it and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy them.
