Any of you guys using the Go Wild social media app? Been thinking about downloading and creating an account. Just curious how folks like it

I have it. It’s kind of like Facebook/Instagram( in that you post pictures, videos and word only posts) buts it’s strictly for hunting fishing and outdoors. You can post all your kills with no threat of censorship. There are no hashtags. You can accumulate points by posting, following other people and registering kills. Then use the points to get free stuff and discounts on gear. I like the app. It’s growing everyday. Everyday I see someone’s first post.

I regularly regret my first reaction to things like this, maybe someday I'll be using it during all my waking hours. Also sounds like a good business model to reward people for sticking to/staying in and participating for pimping gear at a discount- good on the founders whoever they are. No offense, it also sounds like it's being sold on this thread. Honest question: do you get more points for introducing others to the site or for getting people to follow you? They have checked all the boxes to create maximum interaction: reward for following, registering kills (?), etc..

Personally, my opinion, I have no need for more social media and particularly one based on points to sell gear, (seinfeld reference) "not that there's anything wrong with that".

Its a good app, especially if you want to have a social media account but don't want anything to do with facebook or instagram. They have a store on there as well and they give discounts as some of their rewards. It was worth giving a try for me.

Just joined this after hearing about it on multiple podcasts. Here is what they have offered so far.

Joining: $10 off purchase
Adding profile: $ Free sticker pack
Add a gear list for a hunt: 20% off in store

So maybe with those codes stacking up ill look into buying myself something nice...
