What gloves do you use on hunts? Cold weather shooting gloves ? I can't decide which ones to get.

I have a few pairs of snowboarding gloves that I use, they are great for the cold weather and tough as well. I don't usually have any issues getting my finger in the trigger gaurd either.

I have 2 pair of these:

Despite the name they do get wet, but I can usually rotate days and have just damp gloves.

Even though they aren't designed for cold weather I find the KUIU guide gloves seem to keep my hands comfortable enough while still hunting. If I'm sitting for long (while on stand) I use a hand muff with a handwarmer inside it.

I have two options that I use:
1. I use Mountain Hardwear mittens with a small glove liner on underneath. I usually use this plan when I am walking.
2. I use my Kifaru Handwarmer pouch with those chemical warmers in it to keep my hands warm when I am sitting and glassing or waiting for my water to boil. Seems to work well so far.

happy with the kuiu merino wool gloves. not the heavy weight for hard winter cold but they take the chill off and with the grippers they make hanging onto something easier. would make good liner gloves for use with a heavier and waterproof glove. like them so much have three pair. one for my truck, harley, and gear bag.

Well I had first lite merino gloves which kept my hands warm. The gloves ripped where my palm is after one day of hunting :(.

I use GI wool gloves. The local surplus store sells them 3 pair for $9.99. They keep the paws warm, even when wet, as long as I'm moving now and then. When on stand, I slip into some Arctic Shield gloves, wool gloves and all. Just about any snowboarding type glove would work this way, too. When the shot comes, I have no problem shooting with them on, even my precision rifles with 2 pound Jewell's. They are a great value so far!
