Gloves for running

What’s your guys recommendations for running gloves ?

REI brand (similar to smart wool) thin merino wool gloves inside nylon wind-proof mittens. My mittens are asics brand but are about 20 years old. The inner liner that came with the mittens is far too warm to wear above zero Fahrenheit but the glove/mitten shell combo works well in any cold weather thats too cold for just the gloves.

I usually use a thin mernio liner style glove like this: https://www.rei.com/product/194881/rei-co-op-merino-wool-liner-gloves-20. It is usually warm enough for my hands (while running) down to the mid 20s. If it's colder, I will switch to my flip mittens, similar to these:



If there is wind or precipitation, I use a shell mitten, but it gets hot quickly.

I use a nitrile glove as VBL, a leather ice climbing glove over that, and if decently cold or windy a mitten shell over that. Works well. After about 30 minutes the mittens aren't needed above 5-10 F, but if my hands get cold starting out they don't ever warm back up.
