Ok will look, have you used any of the vintage Japanese bushnells? Appear to be Bausch and Lomb made? I’m seeing a few of those on eBay.

The Bausch and Lombs tended to work pretty well.

I had a gloss Burris fullfield 3x9 on my 338 win mag for years. It had the posi lock feature where you set the zero and then tighten a screw that locks the erector assembly in place. Don’t ever remember having to adjust zero. It’s just sitting in my safe now.

It’s a good looking set but I’m a bit concerned about durability with the way the rings lock into the std base with just the one vertical contact point.

I actually had one years ago on a 300 win bar and it stripped the threads in the action. They now say for calibers under 300 win, so I’m assuming it’s a recoil thing.

Currently looking at warne and doing the long weaver rail and loctite/nail polish the length of the rail.
