I am a landowner and let a lot of people hunt. Forget the booze. That is not cool anymore. Jerky/frozen halibut/ sweet potatoes and gift cards are just some of the gifts I have been given. All much appreciated. They were all family friendly. Alcohol is not ;and I do take an occasional drink.

3. Are there a lot of what people hunt on your land?
4. Do you like Dungeness crab?

Honestly if he's a big farmer, and you can drive a tractor or road tractor taking a couple days off during planting or harvest would probably do more than anything you give him. Of course ask before you just show up. But a third or forth set of hands is always helpful. Even just pulling around a fuel trailer and fueling everything and handing out sandwiches, drinks and snacks.

I always give up a weekend or two a year to help bale hay and cut silage around here to get to hunt
