IMG_0615.jpegI’ve been using SLC 10x42s the last few years and really like them but want to go to rangefinding binos.

It seems like a lot of the new binos have giant eyecups and to get the right interpupillary distance I am smashing the bridge of my nose between the eyecups…

The Sigs are horrible for me, the leica geovid 2700 I’m trying are tbd as I’ve spent very little time on them so far.

Is there a solution to this? Aftermarket eye cups that are smaller?

For reference I’m talking about the orange dimension on the snapshot.

Take them off?

When i had my adams adapters kowa 664 double set up removing the eyecups made a huge difference.

That would probably fix the IPD / clearance issue… but Taking them off would put my eyes just about directly on the glass? Seems like they’d get dirty eventually from eyelashes and stuff?
