Getting rid of cigarette smoke smell

Picked up a used TC Omega with a laminate stock. Nice rifle, in good shape, barrel cleaned up with a dozen or so patches. Overall seems like the previous owner kept it in good condition. Only thing is the laminate stock smells of cigarette smoke. Any tricks to help remove that or at least lessen it?

Start with a good cleaning using a heavy duty degreasing cleaner

Maybe try baking soda and water paste? Or White vinegar

I hit it with Simple Green and a greenie. That knocked down most of the smell and the rest seems to be slowly fading.

Side note, I took this gun out to the range to sight in for a hunt next weekend and grouping was excellent. Quickly went from backup rifle to the main muzzy for this year.

Ozone generator. cheap to procure on Amazon. We ozone saturated or house after the side left the stove on an burned a pot of stew. whole main floor of the house smelled of smoke. The Ozone cleaned that up nicely
