Gents-

Looking for a scale that can weigh gear. Would rather spend more for reliability. Let me know what you have used and like.
Thanks

Cooking scales work well. Both I have had were very consistent. One got lost in a move. The OXO Good Grips stainless (the one that got lost) was limited to 11 pounds, which was my only issue with it. The Escali 2210S I have now goes up to 22 pounds and is what I would recommend.

What are you wanting to weigh?
I’ve got a couple simple luggage scales that were spot on with the airport from wal mart
Bought a digital postage scale off eBay years ago takes up to 30 pounds I think. Just as accurate as the PO

one thing I notice, the “bow scales” I’ve seen selling at 30.00 -40.00 look just like the suitcase scale I got at wm for 10.

Thanks all. I’m just looking to weigh random pieces against each other to decide what I’m keeping. I have 2-3-4 of so many things that don’t get used. It’s time to make room and get rid of a lot of stuff.
As far as going to the post office-I’d pay NOT to go in…haha
Happy to spend a few bucks to have my own on hand.
Looks like a kitchen scale for individual items, and a luggage one for total pack weight will do it.
Appreciate it Gents 👍🇺🇸

I use a bathroom scale for total pack weight. Weigh myself without the pack, put pack on and weigh again. It is not the most accurate, probably +/- 0.5 lb, but good enough and I already have the bathroom scales.

Fishing scale, has jaws to hook onto loaded pack.

Otherwise a little flat scale if you want to weigh individual items.

I have been using the one below from amazon for a few years to weigh packs and gear prior to fly out hunts or for game quarters if I have the opportunity. For lighter items I just use a food scale that is a bit more precise.
