Gear failed, shooting mat and suppressor cover

Apologizing to Ryan? 😆 Could you imagine Ryan caring that someone shared THEIR opinion about a sponsor's product and it wasn't positive?

Opinions are exactly that. Stay respectful and no need to apologize. Honest feedback is what makes this site. No one's opinion is that important. 😅

You don't have to apologize.
It was more just jokingly honestly.
Trust me, you think this is my first rodeo in 7 years of doing business? :)

I'm pretty unbothered by anything at this point in life. lol
I appreciate US businesses and those that support our industry in general…

Even if their covers slip off 😜

Which isn’t an opinion, it’s just what happens and is inevitable in the overall design.

You are trying too hard now.....

I know this whole thing hurts your ego...it's going to be okay. I am here for you if you need someone to talk to.

There is zero ego here. I simply try gear and use it.

The only bruised ego was yours when a heavy user of your product stated that your suppressor covers fall off in real use.

Lots of people try gear and use it. You are on Rokslide. You are not the only one shooting guns, hunting, fishing, etc.

It's okay to have an opinion. Maybe the gear didn't work for you, but it works for thousands of others. Just remember that as you fall asleep tonight.

I personally thought the T&K cover was subpar myself, returned it, kept the beanie and ammo wallet, liked those items. LS wild for light weight cover, burn proof gear for heavier duty rated work.

Midway shooting mats have serviced me for a decade.

If you have an AG cover come off, you’re using it wrong
Is this on backwards? I never could get any decent work out if it even when I cranked on it.

This is M42000; had another on a Griffin Sportsman too.

The M4200 is pretty much obsolete and sits in the safe. This can was marketed as a carbine can but the only current use for it I can see is maybe on one of those bipod mounted belt fed 223 machine guns.

I took the Armageddon Gear cover off the Griffin Sportsman (old can too but still relevant) because I actually use it often for night hunting and it was annoying. I put WEKA on it. I didn't like the fit of the tan cover on the Scythe which worked but just a little too loose and the trimming from a Raptor 8 reflex filled the gap.

No, you’re actually using it more than just shooting off a bench at the range once a month.

Straps, cords, plastic clips, etc. none of those should be on suppressors.

You’re right, I definitely use it as much as others but I’ve never had an AG cover slide off the front. If it’s been shot off the gun, it’s not being used correctly. I have not tried other covers but I find it sufficient for my needs and I’m sure it would work for a large percentage of shooters

Yes, that is on backwards. The little slider doohickey should be down range end and the end that has cords inside to since should be tightened to less than suppressor diameter on the gun side so it cant slide forward. The catch with installing it correctly is it wont cover the front of the can.

Figures, I was looking at the writing on the label.

It's distracting to have a can cover that's not all the way out to the end. My Scythe covers do that because they are cut for the brakes.
