I am a Lefty. I have not purchased a RH gun in decades. For some reason I am going down 22 Magnum rabbit holes.

CZ does make the 455 in Sporter weight 24" barrel in Left Hand. My easiest and most direct route. Tikka makes a cute little 17 HMR in Lefty also. I have the T1X 22LR in LH. Sits suppressed in the corner of the kitchen. Use it often.

Are there any real options for 22 Mag or 17 HMR in gas guns?

I can see Savage (PUKE.....not sure I can slum anything Savage).....anything else that's sub $800?

Volquartsen has some of the better .22mag and 17hmr semi-autos, though I don't think any are left-handed. And, they're blowback actions, not gas. But they're about as good as you get for semi-auto in .22mag/17hmr.

If you're focused on a gas gun for a particular reason, Franklin Armory has an AR-patterned gun in .17 WSM.

I'm not aware of any gas operated rimfire guns on the market right now. Unless you're talking about the gas acting on the case which acts on the bolt in a straight blowback. But that's not what people mean by gas gun.

Used "Gas" as it's a very commonly accepted term for Semi Auto rifles. For brevity...I didn't think I needed to break down the actual function.

How about Auto Loading?

Kinda. This is a somewhat newer slang term largely popularized by PRS shooters, where it makes sense because virtually all precision style semi autos are gas operated. You're not exactly gonna hold sub MOA with a long recoil action rifle.

But its innaccurate and sounds bizarre to to apply it to the rimfire world that is almost exclusively dominated by blowback actions.

Auto-loading is plenty normal. Semi auto, semi, blowback, etc... all make sense.
