So, I have been using the Tactix Delta watch with Applied Ballistics and figured I would offer help to anyone with questions.
I have been using it for a year now and have paired it with a TerrapinX, Sig Kilo 3000, Fury 5000 binos to test out.
I have used it for back country hikes with my rifle and for marking locations to confirm kill distances, setting up adventure races, shooting matches with multiple unknown targets and daily hikes and tracking uses.

If anyone has questions, I am happy to help answer them.

I have been researching a lot and still not sure of some things. Does mapping have trails and topo and private and forest areas like OnX or kinda similar. Does it link or do anything along with Inreach while in no service obviously. And main question is. Can the ballistics part hold more than one Guns data and does it have like a normal dope chart with wind also or does it have to be converted to a compatible rangefinder. I have windage and range finding devices but pretty sure they are not comparable and I don’t want to have to buy one just for it. I’m getting a G7 rangefinder and wondering if I should go cheaper on the watch without ballistics or is it worth it as a stand alone in those areas of being used by itself. Thanks for review. I’ll reply back later but goin in mnts on a hunt and be out in couple weeks just fyi. Thanks

No idea on the mapping portion.

Sounds like onx on phone would be better for what youre looking for. On the ballistics portion it does everything youre asking for. You can have multiple profiles and range cards. When you link it to an LRF it will simply drop the range that you range with the LRF into that solution. On the Sig LRF it pulls that output back over to the LRF and displays the solution with the wind data that is input on the watch as well. I have the newer version of the watch as well which is nice for its much longer battery life. It also has a touch screen that I turn off for the most part.

Outside of shooting it has some handy aviation features that I use as well.

Thanks I appreciate. Just so I got it straight. On your setup. Once you range with your range finder it shows drop and windage on your range finder display and if you didn’t have a linked range finder then you would have to just go to chart on watch and manually look it up or put it in to get the same info??

correct. With the Sig stuff in ABX it sends the watch a range and inclination. The watch does the math and sends it back to the LRF. It shows that result on the watch as well.

In your case if you already have an LRF you would simply range and then scroll to that range on your watch. The watch allows you to input range to exact yardages.
