Does the 700i take AA batteries or does it only use the lithium battery supplied by Garmin? There website only list the 700 as interchangeable but I can’t see why one model is and the other is not.

I bought one of these last fall and absolutely hated it, so I returned it. My hunting units with Garmin's aerials were covered in snow and just really clunky and terrible to use. Hopefully Garmin will come out with something better eventually/

Such mixed reviews. I still can't decide which way to go between: pair small in reach with my phone, 66i, or the big Montana and leave the phone behind...
