Garmin Instinct Watch (LOVE IT)

I meant to post this early this morning but the instinct is $149 today 13 and tomorrow 14th on amazon (prime day)

I have my instinct altitude set for my home location. Calibrated I guess.
it seems like it takes quite awhile for it to react to my new location.
Is this typical and how accurate have you found them to be?
Ive read where folks say theirs is off a couple hundred feet.
