Will it connect to a Garmin alpha 200I and let me watch my dogs? my current instinct does. when i looked on the garmin site it doesn't show it.

It will do everything the Instinct will but with Solar. I don’t know if what you are talking about is a difference between a version 1 and 2

I have the standard instinct and it doesn't show the garmin alpha 200 either but i know it works.
I use it while i am hunting to track my dogs. it is easier than digging out my gps to look all the time.
