I am selling my personal Garmin GPSMAP 66i. This combines the GPS maps with the InReach technology so as to function as a satellite communicator, emergency SOS etc. The best of both worlds. It has served me well and functions as advertised. No obvious blemishes or markings. Functions like it were new out of the box. Couple of screen shots, two of which are maps (one with the Birdseye add on map feature….. that won’t be included since you have to subscribe for it but it’s an option you can get, and then the Topo map).

Asking $300 which includes shipping and insurance w/in the Continental US.

Box, manual, charging cable, GPS/InReach unit and clip/carabiner all included.

It really depends on how you have it setup and what features you have on or off. Here is a graph by a user of what he was able to get it to do with various features on or off.

Personally, when I used it, I would have the screen dimmed to the 2nd lowest setting, lock the screen and leave it on to track me when hiking. I was hunting with a guide both times I used it so I wasn't really in need of constant communication with someone that was not with me. Once to a glassing spot, I would turn it off. Once on the move I would turn it back on. The only time I would use the InReach function was if I downed an animal or needed to get in contact with family at home. On a 10 day hunt I would typically recharge every night to top off the battery, but we are talking about maybe only a 25-30% usage in a 24 hour period given the features I was using. I never would let it get too low. It really just varies on what you are doing.
