Anybody use one of these? Are they worth the extra couple hundred dollars over the Foretrex 8 without the AB software capability?
I am currently using my phone for everything (shooter app, onX, etc), Sig Kilo 5k and a simple kestrel 2700. Wanting to run a simple backup gps as well as map/compass, so saw they offer a ballistic solver upgrade with the wrist wearable gps.
I am brand agnostic to ballistic software. Being fairly new to long range shooting, I have not been using the apps enough to really be preferential to an app or brand.
