Garmin Foretrex 801 Wrist GPS Navigator feedback, reviews?

Intrigued by this unit. Anyone running one to give some feedback? Eyes are too old for a tiny smartwatch without getting out readers each time. This seems like a viable option for navigation, compass, watch, alarm on backcountry trips. Thanks
