Is there multiple generations of thos watch? If there is what generation is it? I will research it and see if it works for me. What is the battery life like?

I’m guessing this is the 5th gen. The current offering from Garmin is the Fenix 7 line. I bought this new in June 2021 at the time they were beginning to offer the 6. Battery usage is dependent upon what features you use, but typically 20 days or more can be had between charging. If you are using the GPS function it will be much shorter than that. I would typically top off the charge daily as I was showering and it was always in the high 90% full range.
