I got my brass today. This is the Hornady Brass for the GAP 6.5 4S

Out of 250 I weighed
1-213-213.9
57-214-214.9
113-215-215.9
55-216-216.9
12-217-217.9
10-218-218.9
2-219-219.9
Only 25 that were out of a 2.9 grain window from 214-216.9

Shoulders are 1.628. my chamber is 1.631 after firing the Rem brass, I push them back to 1.629 when resizing.

OAL of brass was between 2.015 and 2.021

Loaded rounds measured .291-.2915 at the neck, my rem brass that I neck turned to .0145 was .293 when loaded so these have a slightly thinner neck.

I didn't find any tags in the flash holes but a few were rougher than others.

The primers seated to .003-.005 depth on the 50 I loaded.

Overall the quality seems pretty consistent.

My rem brass averaged 217 grains but I had a spread from 211-221 with the majority from 214-219

Looking forward to reports of how primer pockets hold up and the volume is compared to Remington and Norma brass. I gave up and bought some more Norma 7mm saum that I just finished prepping and the GAP 4s brass is already sold out so I'll have to catch it on the next go around.

I shot some this morning out to 700 yards.

Magnetospeed says 3050 average so about the same as my Rem Brass. Drops at 700 confirmed speed. Same load as Rem Brass, 61.5 H1000, Tula LRM, 140 VLD at .010.

Pretty windy but had less than 1/2 Moa of verticle at 200 yards. I was holding 2 minutes of wind at 700 so it's possible I only held one minute on the third shot,
which was 1 moa right of the others.

After firing, shoulders were 1.631, and necks were .294. Bumped them back to 1.629 with a .291 bushing for a neck of .290. OAL was 2.21-2.025 after sizing.

700 yards holding 2 moa left in a left to right wind
