Anyone had a Ganglion cyst cauterized on a ankle tendon, I had one bulging pretty bad, and had the surgery last November to repair it, the good news is the bulge is gone now, but my foot hurts more now…. than before the surgery, anyone else ever have this???

What tendon was it, like Achilles tendon in the back of your ankle? What type of pain are you having? Tendons can take a long time to heal because they don't Have very much blood flow compared to other tissues. Ankles can be tricky and can stiffen up and be sore for a long time after an injury/insult. Also, there’s some research that suggests longterm NSAID use can delay tendon healing.

It was the tibialis posterior tendon on the inner right ankle, I had it drained two different times about six months apart, the surgeon explained it like a garden hose with a weak spot in it, and after heavy use it pops out in that spot, now seven months later the whole tendon swells up after a good day of hiiking, and on the bottom of my heel the pain is so bad I can hardly walk on it

Having it get that angry that far out for surgery probably warrants a follow up with the surgeon. There are a few different inflammation related conditions related to the tendon if it’s still acting up that much. Treatment for them typically starts out with conservative management and/or physical therapy for a few months and then if that fails to improve your symptoms there are further surgical interventions. But, there is no way to get a diagnosis or know what the treatment plan would be without being seen for it. Sorry to hear your ankle is bothering you so much, no one likes having to go back to the doc more than they need to but it seems like it might be warranted in your situation.
