Well, crap. I have been a bug GAIA fan and evangelist, but not sure what to do going forward. NeoTreks Land Use was the most full featured layer I’ve found in just about any app. I used it with Google Earth almost exclusively in Colorado. Trails, roads, public land borders, Topo lines, relief shading, etc etc. all in one layer.
It can sort of be recreated using USGS Topo, Shaded Relief, Public Land, and USFS Roads and Trails, but if your not on USFS, you lose a lot of trails data.
Anyone figure out a better solution? I’ve also emailed Gaia asking them to reconsider and would encourage others to do so.
