G-hooks are back in stock...

Thanks 123

No prob. I've been waiting to get some since March. I ordered a 10 pack of coyote color to attach my load sling to my new Duplex frame. And I figured other rock sliders may want to know they're available again. They also have metal 3 bar sliders in stock now, but I don't need those anymore.

Ouch! Yes it is thanks. I tried looking it up but they wanted me to sign in and stuff so I gave up. I hope it isn't double if we order 20.

These G-hooks are beefier than I expected. Still lighter than the 2 halves of a buckle.

Is anyone finding that theirs tend to come unhooked when not under moderate tension? I am finding I am having to frequently re-hook mine.

Nope - not yet anyways. I was kind of worried about that but they have stayed put so far.

The G hooks won't hold tension. At least mine don't. I had a roll of 1" webbing so I opted to buy the G hooks and superloc ladder locks and roll my own. $2.95 for 2 g's and a superloc plus the webbing and some sew time.

yep
A 3 bar slide pretty much keeps it in place but I've never had a ladder lock come loose so I'm going with that and a G hook on each end.

Do you have the newer version? Maybe try taking the pliers to the hook portion and making the opening smaller.

I just bought a set of the new g hooks to try them out.

I'd like to put the k connectors on all my pockets/packs, but that's a BIG amount of money to use for how much gain over just regular g hooks?

My new G hooks don't tension very smoothly. I haven't tried them with a lot of weight yet so I don't know if they'll hold tight or not. But I'll bet the K connectors are sweet.
