No pics for me, I just returned them. The fusion is not for me. I'm sure it's fine but everything I have is multicam, except for the belt and shoulder straps on my ul duplex frame. So I decided to just stay with what's been working for me. Tried to get fancy mixing colors, just didn't realize it looked so goofy together. But the pics might clear some of this up I guess. My intention wasn't to put down the fusion if it came off that way, I just wondered if it was me or the pockets I got that looked purplish. Hopefully this didn't do more harm than good. But if Kifaru did mossy oak tree stand I'd be on a selling and spending spree as that's been my favorite pattern. Which is now hard to find or being dropped I guess.

I put my fl fusion and FHF gear fusion under a black light and it didn't seem like there was a purple hue to me. Maybe it's the lot of fabric they used? It all can't be like that can it?

I have been meaning to get a BL flashlight and just ordered one, so I will be able to check out my 22 Mag and Mini Belt Pouch when it shows up.

The purple hue is in the visible spectrum (not under blacklight) which is what this discussion began with. It is far more purple than the standard First Lite fusion, which is a dark brown. Put your FHF next to your FL and see if there is a noticeable color difference. I was only going off the picture on the FHF Facebook page, so they may have solved the problem.

Okay guys, I got my blacklight. The results are that they maintain the camo pattern under UV light and therefore is still somewhat effective. The lighter white color in the pattern for the Kifaru as well as the FL 5 panel hat glow more vibrantly under UV, but still maintain a pattern. The purplish tint of the Kifaru fabric has no effect on the pattern under UV light, but the white component is brighter. The merino pieces were surprisingly bright under UV and the Kifaru and 5 Panel hat were brightest, while the rest of the line including Corrugate, Stormtight, North Branch and Sanctuary were all pretty mute. I don't have Kanabs as they don't fit me, but it'd be interesting to know if they also glow a bit.

5 Panel Hat:

Kifaru 22 Mag:

North Branch (least bright to human eye under UV light, camera picked up more and I had to get pretty close to get it to show anything):

Just got my AGC bino harness if fusion and it looks terrible. Not even close to the color of any of my first lite stuff. Definitely dissapointed.

I'm trying to figure out the point of this thread? I have a fusion Kifaru pack and a fusion AGC bino pack and I was within bow range of at least 20 elk and at least that many deer. None ran away because of my fusion.

It is purely cosmetic, and looks UGLY! I am sure most of you realize that your camo is almost irrelevant while hunting. Wind, and movement play a much bigger role. This is going to turn into EXO's ASAT disaster. Some Camo just does not print well to cordura and fusion appears to be one of them.

Well I'm pretty ugly so the fusion has no problems when I wear it:)

Plus, it's purple. While real men may wear pink, purple gives me flashbacks to a computer game I played as a teenager in which the goal was to shoot Barney with a machine gun. It was very rewarding, but makes me fear someone else may have played the game and have a reactionary response to seeing purple with a gun in their hand.

In all seriousness the minor hue difference is annoying, but the black light tests prove that it still breaks up your outline. It'll be interesting if someone else ends up supplying fusion Cordura in the future and is able to match color, but for now you're stuck with the purple. Also, the main point of the OP is that pairing it with multicam exaggerates the purple and looks beyond terrible.

You can delete the thread. I should of asked roksliders how multicam and fusion work together before I ordered. I have lots of multicam and no fusion. It just wasn't what I expected. Obviously the fusion is great camo

No worries!

If memory serves me, they already did change suppliers. But I could be wrong.

Guess I'm lucky because my Fusion AGC CUB harness looks fine and no UV coming off it under black light. I'm a Multicam guy but the fusion color price from Black Ovis sold me. If somebody has an AGC CUB in MC and wants to trade for Fusion I don't mind helping out. Either one is fine with me.

If I had all fusion packs and bought multicam pouches , the multicam would of went back and I'd be running fusion. But lesson learned ask for pics before buying!! Never intended to cause a pissing match, I see others posting camo color comparisons upon request so I should of done that first and avoided this.

I'd totally sell any fusion I had. You'll spook any game you back up towards while wearing your pack.

I occassionally wear white after Labor Day, so I guess I don't get the point of the thread either.

I'm not saying it won't work, but when you spend good money on a piece of gear you expect it to match all of the other gear you have in the exact same pattern.

On the MO Treestand, I think UA has the exclusive rights to the pattern now. I am no longer a fan of UA gear for hunting and have not been for a couple of years. I love the TS pattern tho. I don't like how UA puts neon chartreuse and bright orange stripes in all of there hunting garments. I don't see the point. Plus , as its well known, UA stinks something fierce after a day of sweating. I still have some older Scentlok fleece in TS pattern. Hoping it lasts a few more years.
