Fun with 3D Printers

Recently bought a used QIDI X-Pro 3D printer and have been messing around with TinkerCAD.

Decided to revamp my trekking pole tripod adapter and made up a mount for my outdoorsman bino adapter along with a quick switch plate and lens cover for compact spotter

Also made a window mount for smaller optics (no 4lb spotters allowed on my windows)

Everything was printed with PETG so it should last for a long time and be fine with outside / rainy conditions.

Here are a few more projects

I made a powder cup for my buddies reloading setup

I am playing around with a few different versions of the Swarovski custom turrets and different ways to attached the yardage labels

A few different ARCA quick attach plates and plates that will fit the outdoorsman's system

Another buddy wanted a scope throw lever for his Swaro Z5

those who use a 3d printer, what is a good beginner software to use. I had fusion 360 but never got too in depth on it, i guess not having a starting point it was a bit overwhelming lol.

had fun printing others files but would be cool to design my own and strt printing.

I use TinkerCAD. It's free and pretty basic so easy to learn. I am starting to outgrow it with some more complex designs I have in mind, but it was a great tool to start with. It has a few tutorials and how-to's

iu think thats where i need to start, seems like fusion might be more advanced and i was drowning in capabilities where i wanted simple stuff to try and make basic shapes to start and work towards more advanced things lol. Kinda like jumping straight into a mt goat hunt after not training and never hunted before lol.
