Fuel prices thread?

Ca. today raised the price by 2.2 cents per gal. We now pay a total of $1.15 per gal. in state, and local taxes. Add to the taxes, county and local fees, and govt. mandated climate compliance cost. When including fixed federal excise tax, the total surcharge jumps to roughly $1.38 per gal. Ain't the govt. great?? at taking our money so they can waste it away.

Meh, just budget properly and gas is no big deal. $150 to fill up my F150 every other week is no biggie. But then again i eat about 90% of my meals at home and don’t pay for $300 worth of tv subscriptions every month.

I never let gas prices stop me from doing things. I put about 450 miles a week just on my commute a week in my f150. It is what it is. I still bitch about it though, not that it does any good. I could drive my Ford fusion at 28mpg but that thing is gutless. I like comfort and power.
We are at 3.95 now and I mentioned to my wife, its about time they raise it again to 4.19. Its what they do around here.
