I purchased these boots and they just don't fit me quite right. They are still in new condition. I have only worn
them around the house and the office to try to get comfortable with them. Excellent for backpacking or mountaineering. They retail for $380.00.
They are size 46 which translates to about a 12.5 US sizing.

Asking Price $200

I've been going back and forth between these and the Mont Blancs. What's your overall impression other than them not fitting you right? And what was the issue you had? Thanks and good luck with the sale

I have hunted in La Sportiva Makalu's for the last 10 years and I feel like these boots are easily one step above the Makalu. They offer excellent support for heavy backpacking as well as side hill traversing. My issue is related to my feet shape. I have narrow width feet and thin feet from top to bottom. Therefore I struggle to fill boot volume. I always run the stock insole and a superfeet insole at the same time. This takes up the volume of all the boots I have tried. The mistake I made here was related to the size. A medium thickness sock doesn't take up quite enough volume and the boot slips. A heavy weight sock eliminates the slipping issue but then the boot feels to small. I fully intend to try the next size up of the same boot. I will spend a little more time in the store and be a little more picky going forward. I work with two guys that have the same boot and use them in high alpine mule deer hunting. They love them. I hope this answers your question.

Use these same boots and have put around 20 miles on them over the last month. Awesome boot super comfortable. Use the superfeet orange with them and have had no issues. They are a really stout heavy duty boot so if your not used to that it can be a bit of a getting used too period. I highly recommend them. you won't find a more solid boot to backpack with. Top of the line craftsmanship too.
