wondering about the size and fit. can you relate your size and whether you wore it as a layered jacket or outer shell. Thx

Ill help the guy out. I have one and love it. I have worn mine as an outer shell with a merino base layer underneath or with an additional mid like the peloton 200 layer over the 145 base. It is form fitting enough that I have layered a Chinook Jacket over it, then put a Chugach over both. My Kenai is an XL. It is versatile enough to be used as an outer layer when it is dry, but form fitting enough to put layers over it.

What he said. I'm about 5'10" 180. Normally I'm a large, but with broad shoulders and a barrel chest the fit is too snug at the top for me. I love the layer and will be buying the next size up after I turn this over. I have experimented with it with a 145 and 210 under, and the 240 hoodie over. Its just a little too restrictive once the 240 goes on. I really want it over the 240.
The perfect buyer is someone who wears a KUIU M top, or a "normal" shaped person who wears a L and wants their puffy earlier in the layering system.

I believe Moffat ordered a size larger than he normally wears. That would be consistent with my experience.
